   Re: Mario Savio. Was blacklisted till the 80's. My red-diaper
friends, the Kirks, Ethel who taught elementary school in S.F. and
lived in Pacifica, Ca. said that Savio finally got a job teaching math
in Sonoma County, I think, if memory serves before he died.

   Rough idea on the % of commodities sold worldwide, produced in the
U.S.A.? Rough idea, mind you....One right-winger who mostly lurks on
Democratic Underground said recently in reply to the, "U.S. pop. is %%
of the world's pop. but, consumes many times that of nrg and other
goods, " line, "Yeh, but, we produce half of what the rest of the
world consumes..."(Paraphrase.)
