[Ah the contradictions. The Rev Billy had a launch party last week 
for his new CD/DVD, whose tab ran into the many thousands of dollars. 
The record label that sponsored the party just got an infusion of 
venture capital money. Now his publicist is contacting me with a 
follow-up. For those who don't know the Rev Billy, he is the leader 
of the semi-fictitious "Church of Stop Shopping," and decries 
commercialism in a fundie-preacher style. I have nothing against 
snazzy launch parties or the use of publicists, but I've never 
presumed to urge people to stop shopping either.]
