It's dropped 10 years since 1991. (Male life expectancy. It dropped again this year.) Economic collapse started around 1989 under Gorby.

What's next Mr. Irving? People didn't really lose their life savings? There weren't really any civil wars in Armenia, Moldova, Georgia, and Chechnya? Russian GDP didn't really drop about 60%? Pensions didn't really fall below the subsistence level? Drug use didn't skyrocket? Unemployment in Ingushetia isn't really 90% (as oppoed to 0% 20 years ago)? Did Islam Karimov not really shoot several hundred people last week? Or is that all the fault of evil Soviets?

Do you actually know anything about the former Soviet Union?

Nu, zayats, pogodi!
