As for Chomsky and his reformism or his wealth, I don't give a damn. In general, the guy has his political head screwed on right, not up his ass like a lot of his colleagues. So, let the professor alone.

Criticizing Chomsky for profiting from the status quo is particularly imbecilic, as this irony is at the heart of one of most famous essays: "American Power and The New Mandarins." Chomsky has stated many times that one of the decisive factors motivating him to begin a career of political activism was the fact the he personally profited from capitalist war machine. So, in this, as in many other matters, Old Noam is only about three and half decades ahead of his critics.
