Lastly, the article again is correct in claiming regarding the "West's lukewarm" support of the opposition. It would have been better if the Hindu had been more specific: Western NGOs that attempt to privatize American foreign policy did not attract the support of Western officialdom. Western officialdom could care less who rules Azerbaijan. What is most important for the powers-that-be is a Azerbaijan a stable country - an important geo-petro state.
