For her, it was a devastating piece of mail. It told her where and when her son would die, down to the minute.
The 25-year-old Nguyen will be executed in Singapore next Friday.
This is premeditated murder, legalized by a State. It is the the cruel and all too usual punishment of certain ruling classes in the world. To be sure, it is the ruling class of any national-political entity who controls the State. Make no mistake about it, the ruling class of Singapore has been and will next week be committing premeditated murder.
Who are the ruling class of Singapore?
They are the same type of people who populate the rest of the ruling classes of the world: they are the people who own and control the wealth produced by the wage-slaves of their societies. To be sure, not all the ruling class of any country have the same opinions about what constitutes justice. One thing you can be certain of though: any ruling class which allows its political-juridical operants to use the death penalty are themselves first degree murderers.
Cui bono?
The ruling class and their lap dogs in the public opinion camp, combined with certain members of the morality-purity cabal will tell you that YOU benefit from the death penalty, that YOU benefit from their premeditated murders.
