I don't identify closely with the Left, so perhaps the Left is at a dead end. On the other hand, if you look at politics more broadly, anarchism is still a viable political option, one that is attracting more and more people around the world. I don't normally plug anarchism this bluntly, but with the ongoing collapse of the Democrats and the moldering of authoritarian leftism in the dumpster, I think it's time for more people to become anarchists.

The Left is not going to elect its way back into power and it lacks the balls to remove Bush forcibly from office.

Anarchism is more practical and viable than ever. ;-)
