I think there's often a big difference between what the EPA says a car gets and what people _actually_ get (and thus report in places like this). Those numbers are idealized . . .

So I've always thought; but in looking at the numbers in 2005 for my car, I see that they are quite accurate. Has the EPA improved it's testing procedures for fuel economy?
