Did anybody catch the White House press conference a few hours ago?
Doesn't it seem a bit callous that the president was having lunch with Greenspan today to talk about the economic effect of the hurricane? Capitalism first and poor people later?

Yeah, it's galling behavior, but what can you expect? Bush is an obvious coward, a real knee-shaking, pants-pissing punk. Remember 9/11? At the first sign of danger the man bolted for a hole in Nebraska, and stayed there until the coast was clear. At the brief press conference he gave before going down into his bunker, he was clearly terrified: I still can't believe he wasn't savaged by the media for that. He wouldn't go within miles of the angry mobs in NO.
