People are dying on the streets of New Orleans--this is criminal! The cries for help from thousands of poor, desparate people is answered by: "Zero tolerance for violence--shoot-to-kill"! The Bush administration and Congress cut $71 million from the budget for levees and enacted other environmental policies that contributed to the devastating floods that were predicted and could have been prevented.
Spread word of the protest broadly-email lists, telephone trees, etc. Make and bring signs (e.g. "Murderous Negligence in New Orleans = Drive Out the Bush Regime!"). If you are outside NYC mobilize FRIDAY at your town square or Fed Bldg!
