I've been telling people for years now that if W*l-M*rt had been running the five year plans, they'd've come in under budget in three-and-a-half years.
They are amazingly good at what they do--the source of so much ambivalence toward them (including mine). It's hard not to admire that, in isolation. In larger context, now...
