Could you please tell me what "long-standing assumptions- are being  
challenged by gratuitously calling Hugo Chavez a Stalinist and Leninist?   And by 
calling democratic Church members "useful idiots"
And so that I don't miss any in he future,  could you list these  
"long-outstanding assumptions" one by one?
