Palast's wild smearing of Galloway is utterly inconsistent with the facts 
and with even the sources he claims to adduce.  I deal with some of the 
points raised here:

In particular, note that Palast is reduced to obvious fabrications, 
particularly the latest outburt, titled 'GALLOWAY: DEADLY ANTI-ABORTION 
THREATS FROM REPUBLICAN'S FAVORITE "LEFTIST"'.  You can read his article in 
search of justification for this title in vain.  It would also behoove 
Palast to check Galloway's parliamentary voting record before claiming that 
he has a record of opposition to a woman's right to choose in parliament.  
This whole fiasco is yet another instance of an embattled American left 
appropriating the terms of the right, seeking to exculpate itself and prove 
its own innocence before the neoconservative tribunal by placing before it 
endless examples of left-wing venality.
