I just returned from the San Francisco march. Not huge by San Francisco standards but a decent turn-out. It was one of those gorgeous indian summer days in the Bay Area, and I dont know whether that increased the numbers or decreased them. Usual uninspiring crap from the speakers. You know, "The People United Will Never Be Defeated", "Power to the People" and, last but not least, "You can kill a revolutionary but you can not kill a box of Velveeta Cheese" :) and all that jazz. Never fails to amaze me that these speakers think their bromides are original....they speak them seemingly unaware of the self-caricature. I swear, if they ever let me speak at one of those things, I am going to get up and scream, "To the Finland Station!!!!"
I marched with my daughter Arianna near the Anarchist Action sound system. She likes the music.
