I've looked at dozens of photos tonight on various blogs, websites, and wire services. Based on what I know of Washington demos and the areas involved, the numbers just don't add up. I could be generous and allow for around 100k based on flow, but anything higher than that is just whack.
I even caught some C-SPAN tonight which showed the crowd today at the National Book Fair on the Mall. Even from that viewpoint, there is little evidence that hundreds of thousands attended a protest.
Leftist groups are notorious for inflating attendance numbers. ANSWER is worse than most when it comes to protest estimates.
