[lbo-talk] Belarus elections

This is about Ukraine now, not Belarus, but the main
winner in the Ukrainian elections that just took place
was Yanukovich, making the Western consensus of a year
ago about what was happening in Ukraine truly risible
-- they predicted he was a dead duck. Western pundits
really don't understand this part of the world at all.
It's quite funny to watch them -- it's ideology uber
alles for them, or so it seems. They write what the
people that matter in their circles expect them to
write, whether it corresponds with reality or no.
