headline headline and post. The breakdown of different sects and
religions hold few surprises -- Baptists more or less exactly define
the South, lots of Mormons in Utah, Jews and Muslims in urban areas.
Some interesting bits -- DC is among the biggest Muslim hotspots along
with Detroit, Toledo and maybe Brooklyn (hard to tell), and there's a
county in Idaho of all places with a relative concentration of Jews
(maybe it got just over the threshold). Also a band of Catholics in
the upper Midwest (along with Lutherans, of course) -- but not
necessarily in Chicago, which surprises me. More are in Dubuque and
Green Bay.
