Kathleen Cleaver, former Communications Secretary of the Black Panther Party and currently a professor at Emory and Yale, will be speaking at Brooklyn College on Thursday, May 4, at 4:30 pm. The title of her talk is "Behind the Myths: Rosa Parks and America's Struggle for Human Rights." The talk will be held at the Bedford Lounge of the Brooklyn College Student Center, which is on Campus Road and East 27th Street.
To get to Brooklyn College by subway, take the 2 train to the last stop (Brooklyn College/Flatbush) or take the Q train to Avenue H.
