You got that right Chris. I remember the exchange very well. Three  words come to mind: Lucas - hostility - (toward) Russia.  Even  many of the most hostile members of the commentariat on Russia find  Lucus just short of insane. It is truly  amazing that the  Economist keeps him on as their Central European correspondent.
