[lbo-talk] Ian Williams

Contrary to his red baiting statement, I think both Ian Williams should be heard from, but I think, as I wrote , they should be confronted rather presented as friendly guests. It's not about toeing the line, it's about accuracy.

There were definitive statements in my first post, which could be answered, but instead you get an attack response devoid of substance. As James Heartfield pointed out the libel suit showed MT couldn't prove they were deliberately lying. No question that it wasn't the truth.

The Ian Willams from The Nation equated the Rwanda/Srebrenicia/Dafur killings and then went on to mis-characterize Kofi Anon's record. There are articulate critics which could present an accurate picture of the Balkans and Kofi Anon, why aren't they heard as well as IW?
