Hackneyed anti-imperialism and/or "Junge Welt [translator’s note: JW is an old-school Stalinoid daily paper]" (earlier in the post) make perfect sense in this case.

No nation other than the U.S. (and under present conditions Israel) can use a-weapons without inviting national destruction. The only way the Israeli threat to use a-weapons can be countered is if a nearby enemy of Israel achieves nuclear weapons.

What's good for the U.S. and Israel is good for Iran (whose leaders are no more berserk than are the leaders of the U.S. and Israel).
