Writing on the blog landed Bitch paying gig writing! I have been offered a chance to bring Bitch | Lab to a wider audience, but there's no pay, just the huge audience where I've been asked to, yes believe it or not, bring the Bitch Brand to a 97% male audience. :)
Bigger audience to BL --> advertising money --> pay, however, modest. (Some people, HINT HINT, who take blogads, however, need to sponsor moi!)
I don't think I'm going to go there for the obvious reason that I need to make $ write now and I'm rather wary of writing for this particular audience. I can do it later if I choose. Or, I can write about other topics. Doesn't matter: the editor-in-chief loves the writing style -- and it's cool enough to hear from other writers that they like it. (It is still weird to think that I am some kind of writer, so ingrained into me is the notion that this is not something one should do.)
But, I _am_ going to get paid to write more 'serious' technical stuff for a smaller audience of IT managers, etc. (the people who make the $ decisions in corps.)
Is this cool or what?!
