Socialism is not about growth at all. Capitalism is about growth,
unhindrered, eternal if it can , non stop. Socialism says capitalism yields
way to socialism as it is no more sustainable after a level of growth
adeaquate for th population for a decent living. People do not live by bread
alone. Socialism goes beyond bread and addesses other concerns. when there
is enough for evry body and no restrictions imposed by the greed for profit,
a feature under capitalism, people will look for spiritual and cultural
aspects. . After performing the task of growth capitalism must recede. Marx
says it is inevitable.
