Hunting sucks, be glad you've never participated. Unless going out to the woods in the cold and when you know it's full of drunked idiots who will shoot anything that moves appeals to you. If that's the case I'll take you quail or rabbit hunting if you want to come to Springfield MO. I wouldn't recommend the trip however.
In case you're wondering why I think hunting sucks and yet have participated I forced myself to go for a few years because I was tired of being told I knew nothing about it so I couldn't know it sucked. I really tried, honestly, to enjoy myself, and I went several times over a few years but in the end I stopped because it sucks. I know it sucks from firsthand experience. I chose rabbit and quail because I don't like venison and I wasn't sure I could kill something as beautiful as a deer. I do like rabbit and quail and you can hardly see them when you blow them away. However eating quail full of shot also sucks so better to buy ones raised locally on one of the farms in the area. They taste just as good and I won't chip a tooth eating it.
