The Times could have done a nice piece on rep. Curt Weldon's 'Able Danger' data-mining hearing and ignored this as so much flak, but they didn't... go figure.
It may show just how bady some of the republicans want to break GWB's stranglehold on party politics or distance themselves from him, before he damages the repub party reputation (for what it's worth) more than he already has.
