What I'm curious about with regard to Japanese
children is the giant monster/robot friend problem.
Judging by Japanese B movies, every small Japanese
child seems to have a giant monster or robot friend.
The upkeep of these things must be very detrimental to
the Japanese economy.

Moreover, it seems that small Japanese children are
allowed to wander about military or government
installations at will and evesdrop on adults. And,
despite the fact that their giant monster or robot
friends occasionally kill thousands of people, small
Japanese children never seem to be held accountable
for their behavior. Strange country.
