Is there anything she can't turn to her advantage? "Choking back tears," she confronted Frey on a live broadcast on her show for "duping" her. I really dislike this woman.

--- Oprah may be pretty annoying, but in this instance it's amusing to watch her shed crocodile tears while she dispatches Frey into oblivion. She made the man, and now she is exercising her option to destroy him. Oprah is a savvy woman and she keeps a sensitive finger on the pulse of her constituency. Clearly her initial defense of Frey's Fables drew a generally unfavorable response from her devotees; thus, she changed course, and gave the man the public drubbing her duped viewers demanded, which will only strengthen her relationship with them. Smart move. On the other hand, this Frey fellow is an idiot. He's not even a good liar. When confronted with TSG's expose he should have assumed his invented persona and tried to bluff his way through it. As soon as his lies were exposed he should have gotten fucked up and stayed fucked up. He should have shown up on the Larry King show shitfaced and belligerent, and gotten arrested for decking the old fraud. After a few more brawls and car crashes he could have checked into rehab again, and then written a book about his public crack up. Oprah and her devoted legions would have eaten that up.
