Just when you thought that the Democratic party could stoop no lower,
John Kerry quite literally, phones it in. Of course nobody here is a
lover of the Dems, but I think their complete cluelessness is so
notable that even the most jaded of observers must shake their heads.

After 30 years of terrorizing the Left with dreadful stories about
losing the Supremem Court to the Republicans, the Democratic Party
leadership (in the person of Harry Reid, for one) is literally saying
that we have discussed it enough, debate should end, we should give
the Supreme Court to the Republicans without any further loss of
dignity.

I couldn't agree more. It is now beneath the dignity of thinking
people to vote for Democrats or to care whether Democrats or
Republicans are elected. The Democratic Party has said "give us the
whole government or we will do nothing to oppose the Republicans" thus
robbing a vote for a Democrat of even the illusion of purpose it once
had.

I hope the Democratic Party gets the beating of a lifetime in '06. If
they would have me, I would go and work for the Rick Santorum
campaign. At this point, only victories by **more** right-wing
lunatics can save this country. The Democrats are a condom on the rape
of America - and a used one at that.
