In the course of Doug's sniping negativity on this issue and the responses
thereto, we missed the real story here, which is the commendable action of
the students who walked out of classes in support of Bennish. The little
snitch had his supporters too, apparently, and it appears that the local
press is doing their best to hide the numbers of students in each respective
camp. But even then it's pretty clear from the videos that the pro-freedom,
pro-education, anti-Bush students are the majority. Three cheers to them for
sticking it to the talk radio assholes the way it ought to be done.
