I though Dolan's dissertation was on Sade?

Great Gods of Literacy, the guy meant that she had pandered her way to success, and that she had basically done Lawrence 70 years later.

I didn't even so that I endorsed the piece -- though I do think Roy is a panderer and deliberate distorter of facts.

By the way, talking about "male resentment" of success is an utterly lame variant of the "your just jealous of Frey!" complaint.

I have half a mind to write Dolan and ask him about this.
