I didn't see many movies last year. Love movies, but when you have no cash, movies aren't affordable. I plan on catching up in a few weeks when I do catsitting for somebody who has all of the movie channels.
Tell me, is Crash anything like that awful movie "Grand Canyon" directed by Lawrence Kasdan? I rented that once with friends. We gave up on that piece of garbage after I started predicting scenes.
"OK, guys. The jogger lady is going to drop her keys and then get attacked by some guy."
Lady jogger in movie drops keys and gets attacked.
The other example of this "white suburban fear" genre that I can think of is Tom Wolfe's "Bonfire of the Vanities." I remember abandoning that book after some scene about a stockbroker whose car breaks down in the wrong part of town.
