Maybe. But they've overthrown a lot of governments and killed a lot of troublesome politicians over the years. They could fail this time - the empire could be in decline, and the occupation of Iraq is a drain. (Maybe it's Iraq that's occupying Bush.) Maybe big things are happening in Latin America and there's not much Washington can do about it. But anyone who tries to give liberal cover to anti-Chavez forces is playing a very ugly game.
