>It really made my day when Cooper's putrid voice left RadioNation
>and was replaced by Laura Flanders.
Three cheers for Laura Flanders. She's off on a fellowship, and Ned Sublette was her substitute recently. Sublette interviewed Greg Grandin about his new book on Latin America - which, by all accounts is excellent, though I haven't had a chance to check it out yet. Grandin told me that Sublette's questions were really sharp, and the guy clearly knows his Latin American politics. Not only that, he's an excellent musician (and wrote that wonderful song about the cowboys who love each other). I'm truly impressed with this Sublette fellow! Anyone know more about him?
