I too look forward to Woj's rants.

What I miss about the old U.S.S.R. is the state supported chess. I don't miss all of the international Chess cheating that went with it. But great Caesar, did the years 1948 to 1988 produce great chess in those old awful Stalinist lands.

Botvinnik, Smyslov, Keres, Bronstein, Tal, Petrosian, Spassky, Korchnoi, Karpov, Kasparov... Never will we see the like again!
