I don't know if Ms. Kolata is the best source. I notice that she's trying to apologize for the US spending so much money on health care but not getting much in terms of results... I'm sure that a lot of the spending goes for disease-mongering (since I live in L.A., the capital of unnecessary plastic surgeries and the like), but it's also because of the unnecessary administrative overhead created by our whacked-out medical system.

I'm now over-quota, so this is my last for the day.
