[WS:] Nowhere did I say that the participants of Milgram studies - or for that matter people in general - chose their behavior on the basis of their own moral standards and attitudes. They chose to follow an authority figure instead - but the did make that choice - a choice between an authority figure and their own moral standards.

If you are saying that people in that room had no choice and *had to* go with the procedure - you are not only fooling yourself but you are missing the main point of Milgram experiments. That point is that people *choose* to follow an authority figure despite their own moral conviction and knowledge - not that they *forced* to do follow it. They were not forced, they chose to participate voluntarily - and that is the scary part which many liberal bleeding hearts fail to acknowledge.
