The tone of your post seems sincere, so I will assume you are not being ironic. Why on earth would an interest in Polynesian culture be inconsistent with fascism/nazism?

The National Socialists were infamously interested in the esoterica and mysticism of the far east. Leni Riefenstahl was famous for her idealized photographic depictions of non-European cultures.

I think the problem with how North Americans conceive of European fascism is that they think it is just an especially virulent form of North American racism.

Contemporary Nazis in Germany listen to Hip-Hop and Techno, wear Palestinian scarves, chant "Intifada until victory" at their demos, wave Iraqi flags, and in their publications are often more anti-capitalist and more anti-imperialist than the reformist, statist "left".

Stop trying to conceptualize Fascism in Europe within the framework of American phenomena like the Ku Klux Klan or Southern Apartheid. Fascism is not just an extreme form of racism. Fascism is a crisis ideology of commodity society, with a mass-movement component, often anti-capitalist and anti-imperialist (in foreshortened form). The NSDAP had other wings besides the Hitler wing. Variants of a sort of Strasserite "third-way" fascism are more prevalent among German Neo-Nazis today than any Hitlerite sort.

As for Boyd Rice, it seems rather clear to me that, like Douglas Pearce of Death In June, who did solidarity concerts for Croatia during the Yugoslav civil war, he is a fascist.

And even if his fascist rhetoric is calculated to shock like some say Ahmadinejad's Holocaust denial is, such filth deserves to be confronted.

A Left that fails to do so deserves whatever is coming to it. Any "left" that fails to confront fascist ideas head-on in the interest of some perceived "anti-imperialist" commonality of interest deserves to be crushed, smashed, grinded into dirt, because it's not a "left" in any worthy sense at all.
