The Bush administration has routinely claimed that Saddam and his goons killed about 300,000 Iraqis.

Where is the controversy from the right over the methodology behind that number? Bush has also claimed that they don't keep count of Iraqi deaths now.

So, on the one hand, they know Saddam killed about 300,000 during his tenure -- and by God, that's an outrage!!! -- and this when the US was not even in Iraq. Now that the US is actually in Iraq, the US govt. doesn't know, and won't/can't keep count?
