Our resident purest pure leftist and eternal victim quotes Michael Turner on Cambodia: Supposed autogenocide?!

--uh-oh, now I'm supposed to get the heebiejeebies and apologize...Another favorite fantasy of the purer than though leftist Michael Cooper-Pug has been challenged. Yeah, Michael, hate to break it to you, Turner does a pretty damned sharp job picking apart the claims of 'auto-genocide' in Cambodia. I know, I know, that means he was a Pol-Pot fan...yeah, right. Dennis Perrin gets it pretty accurately I think.

But if that's not good enough for ya, I 100% endorse Michael Turner's picking apart the thoroughly bizarre and inconsistent numbers thrown around to scare anyone into not questioning the idea that what we did against the Vietnamese and Cambodians outranked what Pol Pot, even with our support!, could accomplish with his ideological killings.

He picked apart the wingnuts on your buddy Michael Totten's webblog back when that Totten banned him to shut up discussion on the reliability of numbers that the prowar right and liberal-left throw around. Turner did a great job refuting them indeed. Guess you missed that, but the guy knows his numbers and history and can pick apart cant any day of the week.
