Being from Massachusetts, memories of the Fells Acre Day School case are still very much alive for me. Testimony based on "recovered memories" was used to send several members of the Amirault family to prison for very long terms. Here we were dealing with a form of pseudoscience (which unlike most forms of pseudoscience, are foolish but harmless) that was very pernicious indeed, since it was used to inflict severe harm on people who were most likely factually innocent of the charges brought against them. Concerning the allegations made by Bettina against her father, issue, Yoshie, Miles and Heartfield have been the voices of reason in this discussion.
