Chuck Grimes:

These persistent claims that evidence is so sensitive that it can't be made public or made known to those charged, is simply a cover for the appalling probability that there is no evidence. So the government is stuck. It has to push through some form of bogus trial and get rid of these people.

................

Interesting you should bring this up because...

Just today, I found myself in one of those fruitless conversations that occupy so much of the time-space continuum here in the US. A co-worker, a fellow quite thoroughly for the War Against Terror, insisted that keeping evidence secret was essential because of the "shadowy" and "networked" character of these 'global guerrillas'.

I replied that if the accused was imaged and recorded on August 20th putting the finishing touches on his wormhole bomb (it makes things go back in time - the terrorists most insidious plot to-date!) the government, in making its case, could share the incriminating audio and visuals in an open court without compromising "sources and methods" - that is, saying, for example, that Special Agent Theresa Kyle of 1313 Mockingbird Lane, East Chicago, a brunette who enjoys Tom Clancy novels, math puzzles and long walks on chilly, star filled nights, used a juiced-up Canon sure Shot digital cam to get this evidence.

So it seems to me that this unwillingness to share info publicly suggests "evidence" that's fly-attractingly foul.

No, no, he protested...they (our intrepid protectors) know things we don't.

.d.

What is the brain? If you don't know the answer to that, you've forgotten how to think.
