I do to. That's why, despite the fact that I do not have money myself, I still give some to the homeless people whenever they sell their newspaper on the underground.
But I don't confuse that with revolutionary praxis, or even leftist "politics."
The Linkspartei.PDS has been in a governing coalition in Berlin with the SPD for five years. I attended a meeting once by Stefan Liebich, chairman of the Berlin party, When asked what the party has accomplished, he pointed to the fact that homeless people are now allowed to sleep in the underground stations in winter, which was not possible when the CDU was in power!
So somehow this compensates for the health clinics and kindergartens that have closed under Rot-Rot.
If we accept this, we are in serious trouble as a "left." Rosa Luxemburg and Karl Liebknecht are turning over in their graves.

I did not know this. Very interesting. I have read that many post-communist newspapers engage in anti-semitic practices and caricatures (I have to look up where I read this, and which papers are accused). Have you seen something like this?
