Many quotes and illustrations from Zavtra and other Russian newspapers in, " Black Hundred: The Rise of the Extreme Right in Russia, ' by Walter Laqueur.

A book written a decade ago during a time of economic and social collapse. Not really that relevant in a time of rapidly rising living standards and national self-confidence.
The anti-Semitism thing is a red herring in Russia in my opinion. Ethnic strife is focussed around immigrants (in European Russia) and between minority groups (in areas where Russians or some other ethnic group are not in the clear majority), not Jews.
There are over 150 different ethnic groups and languages in this country, you know. A lot of them don't like each other very much.
