[lbo-talk] Amnesty Report: Hezbollah War Crimes

I was vocally against this war from the beginning, and agree wholeheartedly Israel cynically used the capture of two of 'its' soldiers as a pretense to wage all out war against the people of Lebanon.

But I don't think there is a contradiction between being adamantly against what Israel has done (and is doing) and at the same time, making sure that we are clear about the events that occurred, and critically approaching reportage of events from all sides, attempting to attain some form of movement towards the ever unobtainable objectivity as long as it is understood that objectivity is not neutrality.
