As one who has sued the RC church and other "faith based" insitutions before - and will never willfully do so again - I can say that no plaintiff's lawyer in their right mind will do so except in the most egregious of cases {i.e., priest child molestation cases], as they tend to be very vigorous litigators, have numerous exemptions from liability [in California, for instance, they are exempt from statutory employment discrimination laws], and Judges give them a lot of deference.
