This reminds me of those paintings from around 1700, maybe? of assorted contemporary European architecture in ruins, reclaimed by weeds and forest. They fascinated me when I was a child, and it's fun to imagine locals in the same way in you're in a Kunstlerish mood. His new book sucks BTW.
