CB: Actually, from his writing and descriptions of his life, Marx seems to be a counter-example to Baron-Cohen's generalization. He's more empathetic with the vast majority of people, the working class, than the vast majority of people seem to be. He cares about others more than average. And he tries to do something about it more than the average person, woman or man, does.

The reason he was so hard on some of the people he was arguing with was that he was trying to save millions of people from misery. He was anti-liberal , because liberalism was immiserating masses.
