[Iran's Minister of Energy, Parviz Fattah]

Iran's Minster of Energy, Parviz Fattah, says the legal procedure for
privatizing seven of the country's power plants has commenced.

The Energy Ministry has already provided Iran's Privatization Organization
(IPO) with the required information for transferring these power plants to
the private sector, Fattah told reporters on Thursday.
