I think that the music is more of a mixed bag. There are a couple activist folks songs that they love to repeat that are impressively awful, but I have also heard quite a bit of Fahey and Muslimgauze and other good stuff. As to Doug's comment, to be honest I'm not that surprised. Irony and Amy Goodman seem to be mortal enemies.... One last note, for the most part I actually thought the Clinton interview was pretty interesting. It's probably the broadest and most far-reaching interview you can find with him, and the yelling.
