I have (and love) that album (Magnus Dominus Corpus), from one of my fave ex-Texas hardcore bands, MDC. In fact, in early 2005 I tried to send Chriss Doss a copy of that LP to Moscow but he says he never got it. (A postman enjoying it somewhere at home?) I don't know what the hell happened to it.
One important note: A disservice that the advertisements, teasers, and trailers of the documentary _American hardcore_ perform is this: MDC started as The Stains in Austin, Texas, along with other great Texas punk bands like The Dicks and the Big Boys. But on the American Hardcore documentary map, shown in the trailer for the movie, MDC and fellow Texans DRI are shown as California bands. It's true that DRI, The Dicks, and MDC moved to California, but most of MDC's best 80s material was written in Austin when they played with The Dicks and Offenders here, and in fact they talk about Texas often in their songs.
I they're a really great group and haven't caved too much in their views over the years. I believe they're also the only Texas band that was ever on Crass's legendary anarchist Crass Records label, where they appeared as Multi-Death Corporations (M.D.C.)
